I'm just hoping to get in some quality Wimbledon viewing next week. Though my disgust with Ch7's coverage of it increases with every year. I miss Ch9 doing it. :(
It starts on Monday when the tournament proper begins. But they never have the matches I want to watch. You could be watching someone who's No70 in the world play No200 when you know that there is a No 2 and 3 playing on another court. The problem (as with everything FTA sport) is Foxtel have the rights to most of the best matches and Ch7 just sweep up the crumbs. It's appalling.
I stared at your comment for a good 30 seconds, wondering if FTA stood for "Free Trade Agreement" or "Failure Analysis Tree", and how either of them could make sense in that context. God, I can be an airhead sometimes.
But yes, Foxtel buying up all the good shit is a common problem with Free To Air sports. My dad has been grumbling a lot recently about them snapping up all the motorsports, and it's not the first time that I've used a VPN to stream stuff from overseas, because it'll be a cold day in hell before I fork over money to the Murdochs without a fight.
Also, I expect things to get considerably worse, thanks to the marvelous little crisis they've managed to engineer with Ten. Underhanded as it is, part of me still has to admire that level of Machiavellian ingenuity.

What's going on with the coverage, Suze? I haven't been watching. I know their Olympic coverage was completely shithouse.
As far as the cricket goes, I missed a historic innings. Also, the tournament is being played in England. Don't know where I got India from.
