Unfortunately, I can't give any advice on this issue Suze. I've never landed a job because of my qualifications. It's always just been a matter of me knowing someone who knew what I was capable of, usually because I'd worked with them in the past.
When you think about it, so long as you're in reasonably good health, and you've got a home and enough to eat, and you aren't being abused every day -- you've actually got it pretty good compared to A LOT of people.

I flubbed a job interview today for a job I actually quite wanted.

I really need to spend more time polishing my CV and also reminding myself of all my acheivements.

Thanks, I'll be okay either way. I still have a job, which is more than a lot of people can say. It would have been a nice promotion though.
