I didn't get to see all the acts because the phone kept ringing, but I wasn't all that keen on the winner. Don't get me wrong, I love operatic metal, and I'm quite fond of operatic pop; but that song tonight … it didn't have any body to it … or something.
… It was just … meh.
Also, I really miss Steph Zemorano. The energy between Myf and Whatsisface … I dunno … somehow it just mad the whole thing seem fuckin' dull and tedious.
On the bright side, since I don't like the winner, there's a good chance of us doing really well this year.

Okay, so after listening to them all a couple of times, I reckon Leena (Ba)Nanos' "Set Me Free" was easily the pick of the bunch. Obviously the rest of the country did not agree with my conclusion. What did you think?
Also, if you're wondering who Steph Zamorano is, she's a political commentary podcaster. Of course, I meant to say Julia Zemiro.
I only caught the last song, which seemed very Eurovision to me, but then when they recapped for the voting I thought that KM-H would steal it because her effort was Very Eurovision. And I was right. Still, most of my friends who are Eurovision tragics seemed happy with the result, and as I said, it does have a lot of elements that will definitely grab attention at Eurovision. I just feel like it's been done before (the big skirt, the opera, the dementor).
It was the most Eurovision-y looking stage-show, I'll give her that.
