FFS I have no patience for this. Firstly that guy does NOT look 49. Especially not for a Northern European (they don't tend to suffer as much sun damage as we Aussies).
Secondly, and more important: my mother married a man who was 23 years older than her when she was 33. He was tanned, compact, well-muscled and very fit. He was also a c*nt, but that's not what I'm concerned with now. Now he lied about his age when they were first dating because my mum was so much younger and beautiful, and because he was so healthy, for a really long time, the age difference did not matter at all. But as they aged, the age difference became far more apparent. Because he became a geriatric, while she was still middle-aged. And with the attitude difference that goes with that.
There's not that much difference between people when they are 30 and 50, but there's a huge difference between 70 and 90 for most.
And also there's the insane vanity of it. Argh, I just want to punch him in the face.
I agree, but having said that, I can't really fault the logic that's laid out in the video.
Of course, it's not a big deal for me; since, as you know, I'm more in line with the Germaine Greers of this world when it comes to transgenderism. While I don't want to see transsexuals shunned and discriminated against, I also don't agree with the notion that we should all have to pretend that they're something they're not.
That kind of madness inevitably leads to this kind of madness.
I don't want to tell anybody that they're not allowed to feel a certain way, just don't expect me, or your employer, or your potential partner, or the government, or the legal system, or anybody else to play along.

Interesting video. Logistically impossible to change your age but the idea of having your actual age and the age you identify as makes sense
