All the Lions have to do now is beat the Pies, who haven't won a match all season. Can they possibly fuck this up?
A couple of observations:
I dunno how hardcore fans handle it. The penalty calls in AFL are absolute bullshit.
The Gold Coast Suns are going to have a team in the competition next year, which means Queenslanders will be able to support a team other than Brisbane. It's going to be interesting to see what the Nibblings do, considering all of them either barrack for the Gold Coast Titans or the North QLD Cowboys, in the NRL.
Oh dear, indeed. Well, ask a silly question, I suppose. … Of course they could fuck it up.
Hmmm. Go Fremantle, I suppose.
Seriously though, when it comes to tripping, high tackles, dangerous tackles, pushed-in-the-back, whether a tackle deserves a free kick or a ball up, and fifty meter penalties; it almost feels like these things get awarded completely at random. I've seen a number of games this season where the commentators couldn't even work out why a penalty was awarded.
It actually takes a little bit of fun out of watching, even if your team benefits from it.

Don't fuckin' slack of now! I need you to win big. Percentages matter.

Oh dear.
And with regards to rule calls, there's only one thing to do: swear a lot.
