Got any pumpkin seed recipes?

Credit to InspiredCreativity at DeviantArt for this one. Well done. sir.
I've been making a lot of pumpkin soup recently. So tonight, I decided to try doing something with the seeds for once. I threw a bunch into a pan with some butter and salt and fryed them for about twenty minutes.

They were fantastic!

So, I was wondering if you happen to know any other simple things one can do with pumpkin seeds? Keep in mind, I'm not much of a cook, so simple is pretty much the operative word here.

I don't have any recipes but that sounds great, so you just fried them in the pan, with the gooby bits they come out with?

I'm so gonna try that. YUM.

I know people somehow bake them to dry them out and eat but I don't know how to do that. There'd be recipes about.

No on the goopy stuff. I sliced the goopy stuff out (like you normally do), squeezed it to "pop" the seeds out of their little pouches, and then used a knife to flick them into the pan. I don't know how the goopy stuff would go being fryed up, but I am curious now; it might be quite nice too! I fryed them in a buttered pan, on medium heat, for about twenty minutes, stirring occasionally, until the seeds turned a dark brown/maroon colour.

Then ate them like you would some nuts.

YUM, indeed.

Oh okay. I was thinking with the goopy stuff, and on rice would be quite nice maybe. Try that next time? So it sounds like you roasted them and maybe that's similar to what other people do with the seeds.

I am out of ideas on the pumpkin seeds. Maybe after roasting them you could blitz them in a food processor or something and then you have a powder that you could sprinkle on... ? Soup. Rice.

I love me some rice. I could have rice just with fried pumpkin on it. Or fried zucchini. MmMMMMMMM

Through much tedious trial and error of how different foods make me feel, I now find myself eating very little high-carb tucker. Which makes pumpkin and rice not too likely. Sadly. Maybe you can have a bash at it and let me know how it goes.
