I swear - even the the exclusion of everything else - that I will not allow my mother to enter one of these homes, and neither will I allow myself. A friend of mine who is a doctor informs me that most people - by the time they reach the end-of-life stage - are taking enough of a cocktail of drugs that if they took everything they had at once, they would definitely die. So that is my plan. Since the "most" part means it's not foolproof, it may not work, but I will take my chances.

I'm determined to keep my parents out too. However, I don't have your resolution when it comes to keeping myself out. ... yet.
